How to choose
Three things to think about before you add a CPU to your cart.
Match your GPU
Your CPU should keep up with your graphics card, not bottleneck it. If you're running an RTX 5080 or 5090, pair it with an X3D chip for maximum frame rates. For mid-range GPUs, a Ryzen 7 or Core Ultra 7 is more than enough.
Consider your platform
AMD's AM5 socket has been supported since 2022 and is still receiving new chips, making it a smart long-term investment. Intel's LGA 1851 is newer, so if you upgrade frequently, weigh the trade-offs.
Think about total cost
The CPU price is just one piece. Factor in the motherboard, DDR5 memory, and cooling. Our team can help you put together a complete build list that fits your budget — just reach out.
